10 minutes of words.
Brewed (almost) daily from 24 Aug - 28 Sep 2026.
What is this? I’m being attacked by a dot monster!
Maybe I’ll treat today as a Saturday should be; the first day of the weekend, when no work will be done.
I saw my heart specialist today. He didn’t have much of one. And by the time I left his practice I’d lost a bit of mine.
One fine day gonna leave you all behind
It wouldn’t be so bad
If I had more time
Oh Jesus, how did I get here?! I was writing about my birthday eve and now I’m writing about a taboo subject.
Tonight’s exercise class was another reminder of the difference a teacher can make as well as a reminder to be kind.
This poem is called I Don’t Want To Play Today (It’s Just A Dummy Spit)

Showing up is important. It’s a sign of respect.
Respect is my highest value. I don’t know why but it is.
I remember a time I was bloody miserable and unfulfilled with my life situation. I asked myself “So if not this, what do you want?”.
Joining a band and singing is one of the best things I’ve ever done for my happiness, health and confidence
Another thing is, I find myself writing to you (yes you who is reading this), and I thought it would be me writing to me just as I do in my journal.
Today is my wedding anniversary and I didn’t get to see my husband.
Within 30 seconds my idea jumped from one element to another, and then to yet another, and I was buzzing. How on earth this masterpiece of a concept entered my mind while I was totally chilled at yoga I will never understand.
Birth days and death days. As they say, it’s the bit in between that’s most important. Each day is precious.
I haven’t been writing these past few months. I know why and I forgive myself for that.
Today is my final 10 minute daily. I am feeling lower than appropriate for the level of ‘real stress’ in my life and I think it’s because I’m not able to live up to my own standards. I let go of this commitment. It’s okay. I forgive myself for not keeping up.
