I was thinking last night about what was a good time in my schedule to be writing these ten minute dailies. I’m most creative and I definitely feel the flow of writing first thing in the morning, with coffee. Come night time I’m a bit pooped from the day, my brain is not firing, and tired-writing equals rambling. (That could be interesting.)
My thinking was that if I write in the morning, it’s probable I’ll be referring to yesterday, even if just in my head, and that means I’ll be writing about the day before. That doesn’t feel right to me, because if I’m writing about yesterday the post shouldn’t have today’s date as the subject.
“So what”, you might say.
Literally, this is me - I’m literal.
That’s caused issues at times, because I tend to think others are being literal too but they’re not. Is being literal also considered being serious? Or dry? Do you think?
I’ve decided I’ll write as late in the day as my tired brain allows. Or when the mood takes me. That leaves it open and it is what it is. It’s 5:30pm and I’m already rambling.
