Today I complete by 59th year of life. I find that truly exciting! Like most days I have spent the day alone, at home, working in my office doing strategic policy and compliance for a significant educational institution. I am lucky. Have I mentioned that before? Yes I am and yes I have.

I feel like I’ve had multiple lifetimes in these 59 years and various versions of me. I know there are more to come, God willing.

And ‘who’ is God anyway? God is who I determine it to be. Same goes for everyone who speaks that three letter word. With no disrespect to my parents who raised me as a Catholic, and none either to those I love and anyone else who has deep-set beliefs of a deity, I see that when lots of people are pursuaded one way or another, we have a religion. I attend church out of respect for others and that serves me greatly.

Oh Jesus, how did I get here?! I was writing about my birthday eve and now I’m writing about a taboo subject. This is what happens when I type without filter.

Maybe I should end this here. My ten minutes is up.

Happy last day of being 58 to me.
