This poem is called I Don’t Want To Play Today (It’s Just A Dummy Spit)
I don’t want to play today
My feet are cold
I had so much to say
And now it’s gone
Typical
I don’t want to play today
My dummy got spat
After the 4th load of washing
But I can still smell the problem
Or is it my imagination?
I don’t want to play today
My cat’s not well
And I can’t fix her
I can only do 4 loads of washing
Due to her peeing and poohing where she shouldn’t be
I don’t want to play today
I just wanna watch episode after episode
Of Todd Woodbridge
On Tipping Point
While eating cheese Twisties
I don’t want to play today
I wonder where my oomph went?
It’s nowhere to be found
Is this burnout?
Or just a re-run of not being where I want to be
I don’t want to play today
There’s nothing wrong
I have all my faculties, limbs, and health
I am not forgetting how lucky I am
It’s just a dummy spit
