Today was a regular, non-eventful day. I have no urgent deadlines, no work stresses, no personal dramas, no appointments, no aches and pains, no thing that is screaming for my attention.

I am so lucky.

Unrelated, but also today, I realised I have thoughts throughout the day that warrant a full blown blog post rather than one of these quick Dailies.

Like this morning, when I was sitting on the loo and I thought, I wonder how many people know what they want. Or more to the point, I wonder how many people live life day-by-day, without a thought of what it is they want.

I remember a time I was bloody miserable and unfulfilled with my life situation. I asked myself “So if not this, what do you want?”. It took me ages to figure that out. And then there was the process of honouring my wants, my needs, and going about getting them was a whole other story.

It’s still a work in progress. But here I am.

I am healthy. I am happy. I am loved. I am warm. I am safe. I am doing what lights me up.

So if I die tomorrow. I go fulfilled.
