Hope (for love)

In 2016 I came within inches of losing hope in our marriage. We’d become ice-like. It seemed like years since the air between us was clear.

It was during our separation, at crisis point, that we discovered friendship again. Over the ensuing 12 months the ice slowly melted. After first having torn it down, we restored the life together we’d built.

It appears to me that our love was under construction. It still is.

This is my tribute to love and the stormy seas that accompany matters of the heart.
